Waco also offers options for running enthusiasts, despite the falling temperatures. The Miracle Match Marathon, taking place on January 25th and 26th, will be staged in Central Texas to raise awareness and funds for local bone marrow donation programs. Unfortunately, due to construction and changes to city policies, the 26.2 mile marathon will not be a part of the activities this year. However, the Miracle Match Marathon will still pack in the 13.1 mile half-marathon, a four-person marathon relay, a 10K race, and 5K race, as well as a special Kids Festival and One Mile Fun Run. The Bound for the Brave run held on February 22nd will include both 5K & 10K events to help promote healthy living and show support for local law enforcement.
